Encouraging development Growth.
As same-sex parents of a two-year-old, I noticed that the content on TV didn’t represent my family. When shows, videos, nursery rhymes and other stories only depict one type of household, it alienates those children who live in a different one. I decided to change that. I created Transparency TV to bring content that represents the LGBTQ+ community to the world, while building a platform that empowers those around us to share their truths, start a dialogue and feel supported on their path.
Our Value
We are committed to ensuring the wellbeing of LGBTQ+ youth, and we strive to promote positive mental health in order to end the suicide epidemic plaguing our country.
As the first channel of its kind, we are embarking on a new era of tv that is long overdue. Our shows allow children like our daughter to see themselves and their families reflected in the stories they enjoy. Vision To be industry pioneers in establishing the world’s first LGBTQ+ kids and family channel that truly reflects our society and safeguards our youth.
